This is a pretty nice city (Cardiff). Small, calm and cultured. Rent a caravan in porthcawl if you’re here for the beach. If you’re here for the scenery maybe go to the Brecon Beacons. Cardiff city may be small, but has a lot to offer tourists.

Visit the Snowdonia National Park in North West Wales as your priority.

Concentrate upon the towns of:

Harlech, Conwy, Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert.

Hike up: Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon via the PYG track from Pen-y-Pass youth hostel.

Walk along the beach at Harlech, and explore the castles of Harlech and Conwy.

i met a bunch of guys from wales today. they were a lot of fun and we chatted a bit about visiting wales one day. they taught me more about rugby too which was nice! one day i hope to see wales.
