The Liberty Hotel

A renovated jail – The Charles Street Jail to be specific – in an ideal location is a must see. I stopped in today and asked for a tour of the rooms but there was no available staff – bummer. The lobby is spectacular – high ceilings with a wonderful tile mural at the entry elevators. The windows are impressive and the space is charming – even though some of the old prison walkways remain.
