Eschweiler (IPA: [ˈɛʃvaɪlɐ]) is a municipality in the district of Aachen in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany on the river Inde, near the German-Belgian-Dutch frontier, and approx. 15 km east of Aachen and 50 km west of Cologne.
