was in 1972.Terry & I were in high school and saw a double billing-”Performance” starring Mick Jagger & “Superfly”. I remember it as being very tiny. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore!

This is a great place to see a movie. They have a nice lounge one can hang out in (if for some reason you want to hang out here before your show). The theatre itself is great. Their concessions are very inexpensive for a movie place. Added bonus for me is that I can walk to it.

Some minuses: I don’t believe they take credit cards, so make sure you have cash before arriving. There was also some weirdness with the projection system when I was last there (some blurriness/ghosting), but I am sure that has already been cleared up. heh.

I am so glad the kids and I found this place. Probably won’t get out there as much now that I don’t live in the neighborhood, though.

And the selections seem pretty good so far, and the facilities are great. Let’s hope this lasts! See what’s on at http://www.columbiacitycinema.org/
