The Seedling Cafe

Today I had lunch OUTSIDE at the Seedling Cafe. Although my office is in Nashua I rarely venture out. My friend Kate suggested this place and I knew the menu because I had take-out before so I jumped at the chance of a field trip. Since the weather is so gorgeous we sat outside in the sun.

The service was excellent – although it is a counter where you order, they delivered right to the table and cleared up for us. Once you place your order they give you a seed packet as your number. The menu is inventive and delicious. They pride themselves on using local, organic ingredients and BOY did they get our lunches right.

I had the “Judy” which was roasted turkey, bacon, red onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, avocado spread on a grilled wheat wrap. Kate got the “Josh” grilled chicken breast, artichokes, roasted red peppers, spinach, homemade pesto on a grilled spinach wrap and we shared. Everything came with chips and a pickle and was served on terra cotta flower pot bottom plates.

The place was clean and very busy.
