Scotland is absolutely breathtaking. While England is more about the history and the culture, Scotland is about the landscape. Everywhere you look invokes wonder and awe. I was definitely surprised how taken I was with the place.
As for suggestions, I would definitely say visit Hadrian’s Wall. Now, technically, this is in England at the moment, but I still consider it Scotland since it was in Scotland all those years ago. The view is magnificent and the history is rich too. For food, I would definitely try the haggis. Now, I know it sounds gross (go look it up if you don’t know what it is), but it really is good. They serve it pretty much everywhere, so there’s no excuse for not trying it. I’m sure you won’t regret it.
Had a lot of fun in Scotland. This is amazing how friendly the people are there. Me and my friends had a trouble with our accomodation in the middle of night and in the middle of nowhere, so the first person to walk by took us (5 girls) to his place.

“Anyone who has any suggestions on where to find temporary jobs in Edinburgh? I'm interested in working there for at least three months next year, but most of the sites I've found for jobs in the UK basically only have jobs in England.”
