Kihei

We stayed on the far north side of Kihei at Sugar Beach Resort, like you’re going to Ma’alea. We LOVED it, and I think it was the best location to stay on the island. Sugar Beach is the longest white sand beach, and it’s actually quite private. Sometimes, there was no one on the beach, and it’s so long, that you can always find a spot all to your own, especially when you walk farther north, because then there are no more buildings or anything on that part of the beach. It was SO romantic!

The sunsets are cool, beaches are amazing, I like everything!

I moved here in 2003 and this is where I met my husband to be and also became pregnant and gave birth to my daughter. I love Maui, and cannot wait to live here again someday!

Man, feels just like Miami’s South Beach, or even Tel Aviv’s stretch of Mediterranean coastline.
