Worth visiting!
The first time I went to this place
Ron, Jody and I stopped here for lunch on our way up to Black Mountain. We didn’t want chain food, we wanted good food, and we weren’t disappointed.
When I got back home, I Googled it because I wanted to find the address. This place is kind of an enigma it seems. They don’t have a website. There’s a rumor they’re based in Florida, but there are over 20 locations around North Carolina.
Anyway, none of that really matters. Here’s what does:
Thick burgers that taste like they were made by someone’s dad at a summer barbecue, made exactly the way you want them, served with two sides – I went with fries and onion rings – and handed to you wrapped up in aluminum foil. For less than $3.
Although they charge $0.10 to add tomato. What’s that about?
