The Refinery

It is hard to know how to describe The Refinery. It could be a “thing to do” or a “destination”. It is a church. Right now, the destination is the least important thing about it: the church meets in someone’s home and doesn’t really have a building of its own. Nevertheless, The Refinery is where I spend some of my best hours during the week. I know—it is a weird name for a church, but it is a church that gets back to the basics of what church is meant to be and the name really reflects that: the church above all else is a place where we can be refined as pure gold is refined at the hands of a master goldsmith.
