The Fallen 21 is a tribute to the Chicago heroes that risk their lives every day. The ones to have fallen to save another.

Until the collapse of the World Trade Center, the 21 that died here in Chicago at the Union Stockyard blaze in 1910 had been the most our country had ever lost in a single place.
