Hampton aka: Hampton Mansion, Hampton National Historic Site

Hampton is a national landmark.. like Canyon de Chelly in AZ or Mount Vernon in VA, and it’s a fairly large farm in Baltimore County, on the outskirts of the town of Towson. The park service lists it as “Hampton” which is the historically most accurate name. The locals know it as the “Hampton Mansion” , referring only to the beautiful structure that was the landholders residence.
