This is the best damn hardware store there is. If you need something, no matter how oddball it is, McLendon’s will have it. I have yet to go there and not find exactly what I needed.

McLendon’s is your BIG BOX ALTERNATIVE. There are various locations so check their website for your nearest. While shopping at the White Center and Renton stores for paint,electrical,hardware,lighting,housewares,lumber,gardening, etc.- I have found the employees to be knowledgable & have a friendly, helpful attitude that is sorely lacking in the strip mall big box stores. They are willing to call another store if they are out of an item or order it in for you. Their prices are competitive AND if you live close to this location, you don’t have to deal with the traffic at Southcenter! They have a great selection of nursery stock and Master Gardeners are on hand at various times of the year to answer your gardening questions as well.
