What I want to do at this place
The Lead Sled Festival is an event conceived and organized by my dad. The park has a great view of the rest of the city.
From the Brooklyn and Curtis Bay Coalition web site:
“The Brooklyn and Curtis Bay Coalition will be holding the second annual Lead Sled Festival on September 15th. The Lead Sled Festival is an outdoor classic car show named for the use of lead in the detailing of antique cars. Designed to benefit the restoration of the Polish Home Hall in Curtis Bay, the Lead Sled Festival is free and features live music, food from local vendors, and family activities. We are currently selling raffle tickets for top prizes donated by local vendors. Raffle Drawings will be held throughout the day. Whether you love classic cars, or just want to spend the day at the park, there will be something at the festival for you. The Festival takes place from 10am to 4pm at Farring Baybrook park on West Bay avenue. For information about donations, sponsorship opportunities or festival activities, please call 410-355-1100.”
