Öl Stuga

This is where the locals eat and, of course, drink. I don’t know anything about the beer (I’m only 19 and this isn’t Europe, much as it seems). Here’s an interesting story, though: a couple years ago Mikhail Gorbachev, of all people, was in town for a chess tournament. He dodged his bodyguards, which upset them really quite a bit, and ended up in the Ol Stuga. When they caught up with him and tried to kick out the other patrons he made them back off, saying that he wanted to drink with them. So he did, and I guess he turned out to be a really great guy.
