Canouan Island

Peace, quite, sun and sand. If you are looking for a week long getaway frequented by the rich and famous, try this little island. It has two resorts, and a little airport. Accessible by air taxi from Barbados (30 min), the resorts go from US$300/night to US$1000/night, room only. The island has very little to do except laze on the beach, and eat excellent meals at restaurants in the resorts. The locals are generally employed at the resorts and so are very friendly.
