Eastern State Penitentiary

I stopped here about a week ago because of all the stories I had heard about it on TV. Especially about how it’s one of the most haunted places in America. The place is huge and very intimidating. From the outside it looks like a medieval castle. I thought the prison was cool because there is a central hub inside with 7 hallways that branch of it (which has all the cells lining them). The place is falling apart in some places with dry wall lying on the floors. It was a cool place to visit and i might be back later this year when the place is open til midnight to search for some ghosts.

The only time I have been is to experience Terror Behind The Walls so that may not be enough for me to say “not worth it”. I did not get a chance to see the historical tour side of it and I understand that is very interesting.

this is a great place to visit because its super old and interesting historically, its extremely creepy, and they have art installations!

It’s historic, it’s spooky, it’s creepy, it’s run-down, it’s educational, it’s entertaining, it’s just awesome.

I suggest bringing the camera, the place is extremely photogenic. Of course I forgot mine when I went and the camera-phone doesn’t do it justice.

Mugshots is a great coffee/snack/juice bar across the street.

LOVED IT, especially the art installations.
