Goldilocks Restaurant And Bakeshop

This place is a Filipino bakery and restaurant. I’ve read that Goldilocks Bakery is a popular chain bakery in the Phillipines.

You will see some familiar items, like birthday cakes and madelines. At the same time, some of the names of the baked goods seem a bit unusual if you don’t know Tagalog. For example, we noticed a “Puto Cake” for sale. (“Puto” is a swear word in Spanish, but in Tagalog “puto” is rice flour.)

We decided to split a piece of ube cake. (Ube is a a type of purple fruit.) So tasty!
