I'm not a true-blue fan, but I've done this a few times. by Emily
When I was eight, I won tickets to a game in the Astrodome through the Houston Public Library’s summer reading program. I remember going with my dad and feeling like it was a really big deal that I “bought” the tickets instead of him.
I went when it was Enron Field a couple of times, though I remember the footlong hot dogs with extra mustard more than anything about the game, and I went when it was Minute Maid Park the night that Craig Biggio hit a grand slam and announced his retirement.
