What I want to do at this place  — 6 months ago

Worth visiting!

I stopped by this small park today and took a walk on the short boardwalk trail which is built over a small wetlands area. It was a little bit too cold today to sit and watch for wildlife very long. There is a new trail under construction, but you need mud boots in order to hike it, especially after our recent rain. There is also a new interpretive center, but it was closed today. And there are events scheduled for both kids and adults starting in February.

So, what I want to do is
(1) go on a warmer day (but while it is still cold enough to avoid bugs and snakes).
(2) go on a day when the interpretive center is open.
(3) get some mud boots and try out one of the events next month, like a bird-watching event.

Also, the name of the park is mis-spelled, and should be “Reed Creek.” A list of events can be found here

Update 5/29/08
Thank-you, Robots, for correcting the spelling of the park name!

This is a new park nearby that I’ve never visited.
