Just another street corner at first glance by danimatian
This has been on my list for months, and I have been there and didn’t even realize it. It was just another street corner to me, I’d pass by on my way to the red line or wherever else I was heading.
When I started researching Mob related sites for my LOBChicago Tour of Mob Sites I started to pay a lot more attention to the places I was interested in.
When I went to this site, someone stopped me and told me a bullet hole you could fit your finger in was still there. She said to take the ghost tour and they would tell me all about it.
Well that’s not true, the hole you can put your finger in is from an old plaque that used to be there. The only visible bullet hole has been plugged with plaster, the rest are underneath the granite steps out of view today.
I’m going back with my camera. More pix to come!
