Worth visiting!
A review of this place: Something to check off the list
It is worth a visit.. so you can at least chat about it later at hte watercooler ” Hey I have been to the middle of the world… What have you done with your life!” kida thing.
Pernille is right though about it being super commercialized. The little town is a cute visit but everything is overpriced and you can buy all the same novelties in quito for a fraction of the price.
Other than that they do have some great exibits and info about the “Mitad Del Mundo” and Ecuador in general, its culture, indigenous tribes, and some historical facts.

Worth visiting!
A tip I have about this place
It’s only worth visiting if you go to the museum Inti Ñan, next to the big commercial and expensive “Mitad del mundo”. The village is also called Mitad Del Mundo. Takes less than an hour from Quito centre by public transport.
