We went to Siena as a quick, two-hour stop on part of a two week tour through Europe. It was one of everyone’s favorite stops on the trip. My suggestion is to just walk around the city until you get lost, then find your way back to piazza del campo and do it all again. :) Also, we ate lunch here, and I’ve never had better pizza!over 2 years ago

I loved the atmosphere. It was friendly, unique and charming. There is a character to each area, and plenty to explore. The culture is engaging and direct, and the history is woven into the architecture and the way of life.over 3 years ago
Sienna is a small and beautiful medieval town. It seems it is very well preserved. It was a very refreshing change of scene after all Roman architecture and art in Rome.
