Oh L line, how I know thee... — 1 year ago
Worth visiting!
When I first started taking the L I was pissed at it because it didn’t run after midnight, and I thought it was my only way of getting home so I was stuck in the lifestyle of a 60-year-old. Now that it’s running all the time (at least to where I exit), and I have discovered alternative routes, I’ve grown to love the L train.
I like to play this game of guessing who will leave at Bedford. I usually get some of the individuals wrong, but guess the number about right.
I also love the L train for Antenna Man . I also saw a famous Australian comedian on it once, and nobody except me recognised him.
Pluses: trial of the board that tells you when the next train is coming. Board that lights up on the train to tell you which stop you are on. Cooler platform in summer than most trains.
Minuses: board telling you when train is coming once said ‘45 minutes’ and the train came in about 8 for me. Popular at really odd hours like 11pm.
