Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes

I like this attraction. It’s just a bunch of canoes that are paddled around the Rivers of America by the guests. Each canoe takes about 20 guests and two Disneyland guides. You put on a life jacket. They hand you a paddle, and you get in and go.

The rules are simple:

Rule 1. Never stop paddling
Rule 2. No splashing allowed
Rule 3. Keep paddling
Rule 4. Hands and arms inside the canoe at all times
Rule 5. Don’t stop paddling

It’s a lot of fun. It’s only open during the summer and other busy times in the park. I love to do this. It’s hard to get R9 to do it with me, and the daughters…asking them to go with me is a lost cause. They’d rather go shopping with Mrs. viii.
