Flight To Mars

I saw a photo and blurb in the Seattle Times yesterday. It had a picture of Flight to Mars, and a blurb that said;

“The Flight to Mars amusement ride was a Fun Forest favorite for more than 30 years, until it was dismantled and sold in the mid-1990s.”

Anyhow, it reminded me of growing up in Seattle, and how many times I went on that dang ride. It was a dumb-fun ride. You could always make it entertaining. But is definitely was as the Seattle Times said, a rite of passage.
