Strawberry Peak

very neat views, most people don’t know how to get up here though and there is a little bit of offroading, but I got my E420 Sport Mercedes up here. this is the Fire Lookout website http://www.sbnfa.org/strawberry.php
and directions –
“Take Highway 18 to Rim Forest (west of Skyforest). Turn (north) on to Bear Springs Road toward Twin Peaks. Follow the lookout signs. The lookout is 2 miles on this paved road. You can drive right up to the lookout on a paved road.”

you can visit the fire lookout tower between 9am and 5pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
