Ephrata Airport

Aaah, Ephrata Airport. Every summer my Dad would come here to fly his glider and I would spend countless hours at the airport. There were miles of tarmac, tumbleweeds blowing around, and blue skies to the horizon.

This place is also significant to me because I learned to bicycle here. There was so much tarmac and I was good to go with my training wheels. Eventually I could go without the wheels and that was awesome.

This airport is one of those places that I’ll always remember from my childhood.
