Worth visiting!
Excellent location - great views
Tonight I stopped in Portsmouth on my way down from L-A to Boston to pick up my new handbag from Anna Street when i realized I had not eaten all day. It was 80 and gorgeous so a walk around Portsmouth was the perfect way to unwind.
I ended up sitting upstairs near the bar in The Stockpot looking out at the bay and the bridge and felt the stress melting away. I had an incredible chicken, artichoke and leek soup and a grilled cheese with bacon. Not sure how I managed not to eat the fries that came with the sandwich but I was pleased with that move.
Under $12, relaxing and satisfying.
