Legal Sea Foods

I’ve been to lots of Legal locations and although this one is very busy, I have never had a bad meal. The food is consistent and even when it is packed I have always been able to get a seat at the bar.

Our regular order is a bucket of mussels and a shared salad – I like the Chopped Greek or the tortilla, apple and goat cheese but they are all good. They bring hot rolls with butter and dipping those in the winey sauce in the bottom of mussel bucket is heavenly.

I’ve eaten at another location before, and I was disappointed by this one — service was not good and my food was lukewarm. I don’t know if it was an off night or this location is lacking.

I still like the one in Kendall Square the best.
