I enjoyed seing the Caceres sites. ^^
I would go back any day to explore it better…

World Heritage Medieval Town in west Spain, near the portugese border. More than 150 palaces in the Old town, one of biggest in Europe with arab ruins, christian and jewish suburbs. Ideal stop between Madrid and Lisbon. Youth students and funny nights. Many shops and tascas. About 100.000 inhabitants, and capital city in the region. Paradise-countryside in the north villages, and spectacular places near to see: Trujillo, Guadalupe (abbey), Plasencia, Hervás, Las Hurdes, Gata, Alcantara, Caparra, La Vera, el Jerte, Los Ibores… The 2nd province in Spain (sq. miles) and one of prettiest!
