Madrid Temple is fantastic! by jbeutler
One of my favoriet LDS temples because its “Plaza del Templo” is so beautiful – it includes very Spanish/Mediterranean/Arab motifs. The plants and pots are beautiful. The red stone floors are wonderful. I love the buildings. On this mini Temple Square is an MTC, genealogy library, store, stake center, Area Church office, the temple, etc. Beautiful statues, and people in the community are always welcome to come and sit, and enjoy the peaceful ambience there. I have spent very much time at this location and it is so peaceful and relaxing. Every Sunday evening at 6pm a choir of Mormons from the Madrid area sing beautiful hymns for the community. The Church sets up chairs for neighbors and friends to listen and enjoy the music! This is a must see when visiting Madrid! I love this place!
