Snow City Cafe

When I asked Daniel what I should do with a few hours in Anchorage, he recommended this place. Conveniently it was just a block from our hotel, so a few hours before our flight out we stopped here for a late brunch. The place was still slammed at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon, so we snagged one of the free-for-all seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great location for watching the fruit plate assembly, smoothie manufacturing, and the cook grabbing a couple of cans of whipped cream to “celebrate” his friend’s last day.

And my omelet was great!

Coolest place in town. Food is great, so’s the atmosphere. This place is an institution! Hop over to the Tony Knowle’s coastal trail to walk off those calories. The hot chocolate’s oh-so-good.

i love this cafe! my mom works real close by and we used to get breakfast there before school sometimes. they have absolute killer eggs benedict! the atmosphere is wonderful, not a problem to sit and snack and do homework. they have a breakfast cereal bar too. if you are in town stop by you wont be sorry you did! close by to all the touristy stuff downtown, the mall, and the iditarod start…......even if you live here—very nice!

whn i say snow evry wher i dont maen snow cafe i never been ther just i want to be one day ther and i am sory for my self that i dont and i never her about snow cafe pefor rely i dont know wher is snow cafe but my work tonghit is to learn more about snow cafe so i can go ther rely

This place is awesome!!!

One of the best places to eat in Anchorage.

It’s places (and the people who frequent them) like the Snow City Cafe that make Anchorage special. My good friend, Laile, left a successful advertising career in Seattle years ago to move back to our hometown of Anchorage and start a restaurant that served a great breakfast and became a gathering place for local people.

6 years laster Laile has succeeded. Try the Polar Bear breakfast.
