Worth visiting!
This place is a slice of history—it’s the oldest restaurant in the U.S. (Or at least, it claims to be so.) The first floor has a raw oyster bar and a gift shop. The last few times I’ve been there, I’ve bought the corn bread mix from the gift shop. Their corn bread there is amazing! It’s the best I’ve had. The regular restaurant is upstairs. It’s really cutesy because everything is wooden and looks colonial and antique-ish. The clam chowder and seafood are good there. I’d definitely recommend it as part of a Boston or a New England experience, for sure.
