Cerro Tres Kandu: the highest point in Paraguay at 842mts above sea level. Only 3 km away from Eugenio A. Garay, easy climbing! There is a little path to the summit, you will need to follow a stream and when it gets to 430mts the climbing gets more difficult with a gradient of 45 degrees. About 2 hours to get to the summit.
If you like hiking and trekking, from the summit follow the descending path (a water source for the Guazu stream) on the North direction. Expect a walk of around 8 hours through a stony path and several beautiful little waterfalls. You will find a little hill known as Cerro Tatuy on the East following a little path made from wondering cattle. On top of this hill you can find Inocencio and Crispin Espinola who might be able to accommodate you and guide to Ita Letra. From Cerro Tatuy, you have a further 7 km to Ita Letra.
