Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Try the walnut cakes. Different patisseries have different versions throughout the region and the town.
Drink the wine, the best malbec – with Mendoza Argentina – in the world, rich, thick, often tasting ancient as if from a Greek flask. (In 1975 I bought a bottle of 1888 vintage (sic!), but someone soon lifted it.)
The locals are called cadurciens, and love their rugby, even if their team hasn’t had the success of similarly sized and samaller towns of the south.
The River Lot is exceptional in every way, and Cahors’ position on it is picnic-perfect.
