Why I recommend this place to visitors — 7 months ago
Worth visiting!
This was the first chateau I ever visited so it has a special place in my heart! I specifically wanted to visit one chateau that wouldn’t be packed with tourists, and Beauregard was definitely a good choice. I practically had the whole chateau and grounds to myself and could almost pretend they were mine. ;) I especially love the avenue leading up to the chateau, the grounds and their views over the countryside and the gallery of France’s kings and queens (for which the chateau is famous). Plus the staff are really lovely – my bike got a puncture and one of them gave me a lift back to town with my bike in the back of her tiny car.
