Worth visiting!
Why I recommend this place to visitors
This is the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey at 171 feet. It’s first order, Fresnel lens, was lit for the first time on January 15, 1857. It’s worth taking the 228 steps to the top for the views from the outside deck.
