The Olde Angel Inn

The oldest acting inn in Ontario, and a great pub to boot. Grab a pint of one (or seven) of the twenty-two beers on tap. And, in one of the most haunted towns I know of, no self-respecting pub would be caught dead without its own ghost. The plaque on the outside of the Angel Inn says that the spirit of Captain Swayze, a British soldier killed in Inn’s cellar, remains there to this day. He stays off the upper floors, so long as there is a British flag flying over the pub’s door. I tried to convince the wait staff to take down the flag while I was there, but they didn’t go for it.
