Segovia was the second day trip I went on after Toledo and I was completely taken aback by the city. When you walk through it you can pretend you’re in another time save for the anachronistic graffiti. It was very strange to see graffiti and stencils (mostly of a political nature) adorning the stone walls. In the plaza there was a really cool graffiti art installation featuring the work of 8 different artists. The juxtaposition of the colorful modern art and the aqueduct was a sight to behold to be sure. over 4 years agoLike a fairy tale! by laurita02I lived with a host family here for a semester back in 2000. I’ve visted a few times since then as well. It is a lovely, enchanting small town with a castle, an aqueduct, a cathedral and lots of segovianos strolling up and down the narrow streets.
