Grand Canyon Skywalk

Walking out on this platform will take some courage. I’ve had a weird fear of heights thing pop up recently (I don’t remember being scared of heights when I was younger). I’ve heard this has a see-through floor—just the idea freaks me out. But I want to do it!

If you look carefully, some of the glass is cracked already. I’m serious, there are two places that I saw where the glass was cracked, but to be honest, the cracks were on the walls of the skywalk, and not the glass bottom.

No cameras or cell phones are allowed on the walk. They also make you check all bags and they give you booties when you walk on the glass.

I think this is a great idea, and a truly unique way to see part of the Grand Canyon. My family is going to do this. My dad definitely wants to, and even my mom wants to go! My sisters though, are a different story. We’ll see.
