Seattle Monorail

It’s a very short trip, only a couple of minutes long but it’s an entertaining way to get downtown from the Seattle Center or visa versa. We will usually take this trip during the holidays when traffic is crazy downtown, we’ll ride the carousel (holidays only), get some hot cocoa and take the monorail back to the Seattle Center. The kids find it a lot more thrilling than adults and frankly, i don’t think you would want to be on the monorail much longer than that anyhow.

It’s a really short trip (only about 2 minutes long). Go for the novelty value!
