The Depot

We went on a Saturday afternon and had it almost all to ourselves. We explored all of the trains, from the rotary snowthrower to the humongous steam locomotives that hauled ore out of the Iron Range. What’s neat is that they let you aboard the trains. There is just enough interpretive stuff but not so much to bog you down. Lots of neat antiques to view. I like the Depot! Plus if you have kids, the Duluth Children’s Museum is in the same building, and there is a neat exhibit about Vietnam Vets, too.
