The Elliott Bay Brewhouse And Pub

We’ve been here several times in the last week (we just moved here and haven’t set up our kitchen) and one waiter remembered us and told us about the free table shuffleboard in back and the banquet room. The food is quite good for pub/brewery food and the Bavarian Pretzel, when right out of the oven, is delicious! This place is helping put Burien on the map.

We went on Mother’s Day and it was really easy to get in..humm I’m guessing it’s more of a place to take Dads! Well, I saw two other MOMS that I knew with their families. This was their return trip, both gave raves for the food! I had the fish & chips which were a little too breaded for my taste..it’s hard to beat The Tides Tavern fish&chips! The citrusy cilantro slaw seemed devoid of cilantro and only a hint of citrus. They’ve got shuffle board in the back which looked like fun. The on site brewery was interesting. I spied a small statue encased in glass that was recessed into the wall of the brewing room. I asked our waiter what it was & she replied that it was St Arnold- the patron saint of spirits & beer! HUH???

I want to see the machinery they’ve installed on 2 floors that operates the brewery. Should be intersting! The EB&P has another site on California Ave in West Seattle. They have chosen Burien as their next location and have invested alot of money into our community. I wish them successon their newest venture!
