Worth visiting!
This place was unbelievable and I didn’t even make it all of the way over. I was a bit dehydrated the day we went and we had our 2 year old with us. We went over about 4 dunes, everyone we thought was the 4th one we decided to call it quits.. :) Next year, we’re gonna make it though!

We like to climb the ridge and watch the sunset over the sound. Amazing!
When I was in college, we’d meet to watch the sunset and plan where the party would be that night. Now, we get restaurant recommendations from the locals.

If youre sick and tired of vacation pictures that looks just like your neighbors, this is a neat little stop. If youre on the outer banks of NC, you have to visit Jockey’s Ridge. The home of the ‘tallest natural sand dune system in the Eastern United States’
No admission fee. Climb the dunes. Get some sand in your shoes (or take them off—smarter not harder). Get some nice view of the bay and the ocean.
