Suburbia by bswopes

TO is a nice place to live, but I can’t imagine anyone visiting unless you know someone here.

Quiet, progressive place. Woudl eb nothing without AMGEN. Nice people also, like verywhere. Lots of Oaks and they look beautiful in the midst of the fog.

I spent the teenage years of my life in the Thousand Oaks area. It is the epitome of suburbia now. When I first went up it was more rural and not so bad. Now there’s tons of traffic, hundreds of lame chain stores, and lots of stuck up snobby people. The only thing worthwile in this city is the T.O. Meat Locker

Nice place to live by knowbody49

I lived in Thousand Oaks for 8 years and loved it. It’s expensive, but the weather is very nice. It’s mostly a residential community, but there are lots of great places to go from there. Not the best place to raise kids due to social pressures and the potential for bad influences.

Thousand Oaks by Zensurfer

Thousand Oaks is a wonderful place to live and raise children. If you like to go out and party it maybe too boring for the average party person, the city values family life over nightlife and there isn’t much history to absorb in this small city. As far as a travel destination, stop for lunch on your way to Ventura or Santa Barbara, not much here.
