Scanno

Scanno is conected by bus with Sulmona and it’s a lovely mountain trip. There is a picturesque lake a couple of kilometres down from the village and most visitors head there. However the village itself is very appealing with its steep narrow streets and it would take a lot of beating for friendliness.

It’s not true that all roads lead to Rome – but Scanno has got a direct bus service to the capital!
