The Vermont Country Store

I’ve been in this store many times, in both of its locations (Weston and Rockingham). The first thing that strikes me is the smell—the smell of country foods, old-fashioned apothecary and household items, and real wood construction.

It’s too bad that nice places such as this are held hostage in the socialist republic of Vermont.

You are not sure where to look first but then you can wander for ages. Like an old-timey store with penny candy and plastic back lotion applicators and items of clothing you are not sure anyone would ever wear.
