Why I recommend this place to locals — 1 year ago
Worth visiting!
Well, I recommend it if you smoke. It’s an excellent all-the-time hangout, imho. It’s near the Blue Line Damen stop, so it’s a great place to stop as you’re commuting home from work (if you’re a Loop worker/North side resident). The nice thing about it is, you can smoke in there (duh, it’s a tobacco lounge), and you can also do lots of other nice hanging out stuff. They have coffee and a bar, and board games and a fireplace – all of these are nice things to enjoy while having a cigarette, but how often do you get to? I mean, how many smoking cafes are there? Plus the people are really nice, and they have all these super-fancy tobacco blends, some of which are really tasty. And very fresh. Pricey, but you can also bring your own plain ol’ cigarettes and enjoy them with a drink in front of the fireplace.
Of course, I quit smoking, so now I can’t go here because I just know I’d relapse. Sigh.
