A review of this place: Views and beaches everywhere
Bunessan is a small village on the Ross of Mull near to Iona. That makes it busy at the main times for the tour buses but at other times it’s very quiet. The pub, ‘The Argyll Arms’ serves good and reasonably priced food.
The immediate scenery is nothing to deride but you can bet that wherever you can take a smaller road, you ill find something outstanding.
We particularly liked two huge beaches, found by going behind the Argyll Arms and eventually turning left [see map.]
