Stromness

The best fish n chips I’ve ever had in my life was in Stromness. Unbelievable!! Melt in your mouth goodness!! I later ate some in the city (Edinburgh) and there was no comparison.

I took the ferry over to Orkney from the mainland and spent time shopping here : ) I picked up some lovely handmade presents to bring home to Canada. There was also a beautiful museum called The Pier Arts Centre that I didn’t go through, but I did visit its giftshop and it had lots of trendy stuff. I opted for the handmade goods in the boutiques and enjoyed walking along the cobblestones.
